Marie Hahn, L.Ac. Dipl. O.M.- Marie received her Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the USA after 4 years of intensive education and clinical training.  She is a Licensed Acupuncturist and an NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.

Marie is a member of the Akupunkturforeningen in Norway. The standards are very high in order to become a member of this association, including 120 credits in acupuncture related courses, plus an additional 90 credits in medical sciences. Ms. Hahn successfully treats patients suffering from a wide variety of disorders including pain conditions, abdominal and digestive disorders, side effects of chemotherapy, symptoms of menopause, menstrual irregularities and discomfort, anxiety, stress, depression, acne and the common cold, plus many more. In practicing a preventative medicine, Ms. Hahn believes in empowering the patient with the knowledge and lifestyle changes necessary in order to promote overall wellbeing, which will allow the patient to avoid future illness. This may include exercise recommendations, meditations, nutritional advice, etc., depending on what the individual patient requires for balance and well-being.

Marie is the Assistant Academic Dean at The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the USA, currently on sabbatical while living in Norway.  This position gives Marie the opportunity to stay involved with the newest information about acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her experience working with the administration, fellow teachers, and students, inspires her to continue educating students, as well as the general public, about the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Marie completed an internship at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, Sichuan Provence, China.  This internship included time in an integrated teaching hospital where Western and Eastern medical modalities are performed with each individual patient.  Marie spent time in several different departments including Gynecology, Neurology, Tui Na Chinese Massage, and Latent Medicine Acupuncture and Moxabustion.

Marie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.  She received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a major in Cultural Anthropology an a minor in Philosophy.
